This entrance set in Clare Hill, Esher, was part of a complete remodelling of a thatched house.
The double doors and oak floors were solid, as indeed were the flagstones, and the handrail was the delightful work of a trompe l'oeil artist.
The selection of illuminated French dungeon keys added interest and provided a unique talking point for visitors.
